Density Based Class on saved Items
It is now possible to indicate your saved items on your customer's orders as being a density-based item, or not. This feature will help the system know when to auto-update your LTL class and sub values, and when to let you set this data based on their NMFC based class and sub.
Density-Based Class in Rate Quotes and Orders
There is a new checkbox column on the Item information on Rate Quotes and Orders called Density-Based. This new checkbox column allows you to manually designate if an item's class and sub should be based on density or not.
By default, items you enter will be density-based, and you can simply uncheck the box, or manually change the class to what it should be.
Selecting Density-Based Items from History
When you click the drop down above the Items to insert an item from history, then items designated as Density-Based will indicate the class is density-based and the item's class and sub will be automatically filled out for this item when you enter the dimensions on your quote/order.
Non-density based items selected from history will still indicate their saved class and sub in the drop down, and these class & sub values will insert immediately and will not change with dimensions.
Customer Item History
As new items are entered on orders, they are automatically saved to the customer's item history and will be stored as either density-based or not, depending on how they are set on the order.
You can still manage your customer's item history directly by clicking Customers on the left side, finding and clicking on your customer, and then clicking the Item History tab.
Here you can set an item as Density-based or non-density based and still update other information.
NOTE: Density-based items will not display a class and sub because this will change with each order.
Copy Live BOL Link
In addition to downloading BOL's, you can now copy a public BOL link to your clipboard that is shareable to your customers or anyone you wish to share it to.
The BOL will be generated live whenever a user clicks on the link so the data will be up to date at all times.
To copy the link, view the BOL from the order grid or from inside the order, and then click Copy Link at the bottom of the BOL. The link will be copied to your clipboard so that you can paste this into an email or whatever you wish.
Streamlined InterConnect Booking
With this update, InterConnect orders can now be tendered in a more streamlined manner allowing you to create and book your interconnect orders even quicker.
Creating an order and selecting a rate follows the same process as always. Once you have selected a rate and filled out the order information, you can now click Review & Book at the top of the order.
The confirmation window allows you to review the data before submitting and cancel and make changes if necessary, or Book Order if you are ready. Your InterConnect rep will be automatically selected and listed at the top.
Once you have clicked Book Order, then your InterConnect rep will receive and process your order like always, and your order will continue to be updated and maintained like always.
This new process should save several clicks. Note that the Order Status never has to change from Quote Pending in order to book the order, and this will get updated after you book, as well as upon acceptance.
The old tender process is still available for now if needed.
New Charge breakdown & Custom Fields on Enhanced Grid
There are new columns in the enhanced grid to help you create create the grid views, reports, and filters that you need to organize your orders. These new columns include:
- Freight Revenue
- Freight COGS
- Customer custom fields
These new fields will appear in the same list of fields in the top right corner of the Enhanced Grid where you would insert any other field.
You can now more easily use the omnisearch feature in Miranda.
There is a new keyboard shortcut of Ctrl + S to quickly move to the omnisearch field.
As you type, results will appear and you can navigate through the results with your up/down/left/right arrow keys.
You can also select if you wish to open the order or quote in a new tab or not. This setting will save for future uses.
- Some fields have been updated to prevent Chrome from attempting to insert auto-fill suggestions on the Rate Quotes page. More fields will be resolved in future updates to ensure Chrome does not attempt to insert information into these fields.
- An issue was resolved that prevented users from removing inner packaging types in the Items table.
- An issue was resolved that allowed an inactive customer to be inserted onto a copied order.
- Some additional spacing was inserted on the Documents & Notes tab of orders between the actual note and the public/internal status to make notes more readable.
