With this release of Miranda, we've added several new features including:
- the ability to tag and notify users on order notes;
- multiple BOL enhancements;
- associate an address with a customer;
- and notification that a new BOL is available.

Tag and Notify Users on Notes
With this release, you can now tag a user from inside an order note to notify them of important updates.
When the user is tagged on a note, they will receive a pop-up notification as seen in the screenshot below. In addition, the badge count for unread notifications will be updated.
Clicking on the notification will open the associated order to the Documents & Notes tab.
We have made additional enhancements to the BOL in a continued effort to make the document clearer and easier to read.
All accessorials (shipment level, pickup, and delivery) have been moved to top of the Special Instructions box as pictured in the screenshot below and will be preceded by a header (e.g. Accessorials: Hazardous ; Pickup: Liftgate ; Delivery: Call before delivery).
All special instructions will be located below the accessorials. In addition, all volume LTL shipments will display a Quote ID (Q#: xxxxx) on the BOL to ensure the appropriate rate is honored by the carrier.
The shipment contact information and shipment ID's at the top of the BOL have been laid out more efficiently and several small display changes were made to shorten the document.
Associate addresses to a customer account
We have added several new features in Miranda that allow you to associate an address with a specific customer. In addition, we have automatically assigned customers to existing addresses based on the customers past order history. If a specific address has been used by two or more customers in the past, there will now be multiple copies of the address, each with a corresponding customer assigned.
Associated customer addresses will be displayed at the top of your list when selecting the address for the pickup and delivery location. All other addresses are shown under Other Addresses.
When creating a new address from inside an order that has a customer selected, the customer will be automatically populated for the new address.
You can also associate an address to a customer from the Address Book.
- Click on the Address Book tab.
- Search for and select the address.
- Use the Customer drop-down menu to select the customer who should be associated with the address.
New BOL Available Notification
Miranda has added a new enhancement to the notifications feature that will notify the Customer Rep on the order when a new BOL is available to view.
If a user other than the customer rep themselves, generates a BOL number and saves the order, the customer rep will receive a notification.
The primary use case for this notification allows Miranda InterConnect users to receive notification when their BOL is ready to view and download.

The notification can also be seen by selecting Notifications at the top of the screen. Clicking on the New BOL Available notification will open the order directly to the Shipments tab where the BOL can be viewed and downloaded.
The BOL notification is turned on by default, but this setting can be modified by going to Notifications > Settings > and toggling the New BOL Available notification to off.
