1. Log in to Customer Portal
Log in to your customer portal.
2. Book a Shipment
To create a new shipment, click on Book a Shipment.
3. Enter Pickup and Delivery Locations
In the "Where are you shipping" section, enter the pickup location (zip or city/state), pickup zip and pickup accessorials, along with the delivery location, zip and delivery accessorials.
4. Enter Item Information
In the "What are you shipping" section, enter the item information.
If you are shipping more then one item, click the "+Add Item" box to add an additional item.
5. When are you Shipping?
In the "When are you shipping" area, enter the desired pickup date.
6. Get Rates
Click the Get Rates button to view currently available rates for the requested lane.
7. Select a Rate
The rate results will take a few moments to populate. By default, rates are sorted by price with the lowest first.
Click the Select button next to the desired rate and carrier.
8. Enter Pickup Location
Enter the pickup location, including the location name and address.
9. Enter the Pickup Availability
Enter the availability for the pickup. Using the drop-down menu, choose the time that your freight will be ready and the time when the pickup location will close.
10. Enter the Pickup Contact Information
Enter the contact name, phone and email address for the pickup.
11. Enter Reference Number and Special Instructions
Finally, enter any reference numbers and special instructions that you would like on the shipment.
Click the Add Delivery Info button to proceed.
12. Enter Delivery Information
Enter the delivery information, including the:
- location name and address,
- delivery availability,
- delivery contact information,
- review the accessorials,
- and enter any special instructions for the delivery.
Click Add Item Info to proceed.
13. Enter Additional Item Information
Enter all additional information for the items in the shipment. This includes the following:
- Description of the items being shipped.
- NMFC code (if applicable)
- NMFC Sub (if applicable)
- Shipment Value
- Order Number/PO Number
- Any Special Instructions for the shipment.
Review the information in your shipment and click Confirm Your Shipment to proceed.

14. Submit the Shipment
Review the shipment summary and ensure all information is correct. Click Submit Shipment to send your shipment to your account representative.
15. Shipment Submitted
Once the shipment is dispatched, you can begin tracking the shipment. Log in to your customer portal and click on Track Orders to view the tracking details. For more information on tracking your shipment, please see: Track a shipment in the portal.
